Hey there my beloved’s.
While January felt like forever and a day, February has picked up its’ tempo, cruising along to where we’ve been swimming deeply within Pisces Season, and today we find ourselves under the Piscean New Moon 🌚💙. Happy New Moon in Pisces 🌚 🌊🐚🐠🩵💙 my friends! New Moons are all about setting intentions. This is because the Moon is finding herself at the beginning of her next cycle. ~New Cycle + New Intentions ~ It’s an opportunity for us to reset our energy to come back home to ourselves.
Specifically, this Piscean New Moon is asking us to drop into our imaginative dream state. As we day dream & night gaze over our internal landscape, what new ways of living can we visualize for ourselves? How can we start to align our dreams and bring them more into our reality of today - to embody them? Pisces is a deeply intuitive water force that is connected to our subconscious. In order to access this, we need to listen to our intuition, which is our inner knowing. This is the quiet voice that speaks to you. This is our instinctive responses. This is our emotional authority. This is our innate understanding of what is true for ourselves, even if we don’t have external evidence to prove it. We don’t need to prove it - we just KNOW it. This Pisces Moon is asking us to trust our intuition more. To move within our worlds keeping it in the forefront. When we can manifest this intuitive trust and move within our personal power, we can start to shirt our timelines and narratives.

The Sun has gifting us more sunny daze to balance the wicked cold. It feels like a signal to the warmth that is slowly making it’s way to us. I imagine Spring may be showing herself more in places South of us folks up here in Ely, MN. Winter, she still persists up here in the wild north woods, and so do I. I’m quite fine with it. My energy levels are taking their time to move out of the hibernation mode, and I am clear in honoring that. I hope you are moving at the pace that resonates with you too.
On March 1st, Venus will station retrograde. Whenever a planet moves into retrograde, this means it’s a time where we need to reflect & tune inwards to whatever that planet is trying to teach us. Venus is our planet of values, resources, beauty and love. Actually if you are to go outside at night and look towards the West - about 45* above the horizon line - you will see the A BIG OL BRIGHT, TWINKLING, BEAUTY - that is our cosmic planet, Lady Venus.
Values & Resources. Two incredibly important Venusian ingredients that ground us in our authenticity & human-connectedness. Two incredible important virtues that are on the collective chopping block upon the world stage. With Venus in Rx, what better time to reevaluate our values & take inventory of our resources, so we can start to create our own Personal Revolution Strategy.
I know so many of us are feeling overwhelmed, scattered, lost, angry, upset or almost in a freeze-like-state when it comes to witnessing the horrors of this new regime that has moved into office. These past handful of weeks, through tarot readings, intimate conversations, passerby discussions and periodic wellness check-ins of friends & community - WE ARE ALL feeling the heavy weight of the collective energies right now.
It’s evil chaos magic on purpose, trying to make us feel a variety of things:
To disassociate. Detaching from our emotions or the somatic messages our body is giving us. They want us spiraling and disconnected.
To become apathetic. Feeling no interest or concern for what’s going on because “well, it hasn’t landed on my doorstep”…yet. They want us to trade in our empathy for apathy. When we stop caring about others we actually lose a part of ourselves too.
To feel overwhelmed. Forcing the though pattern of “well what can one person really do? I can’t make a difference.” They want us to feel hopeless, without power, small and alone.
With Venus supporting us, this is when we say, “Excuse me but fuck you! We are not alone, we are in this together and our values matter. We are beautiful complex creatures in a complicated world that needs to share resources in order to support this planet and ALL the people who live on it. We the people, for the people, by the people. WE are the majority against this ELITE FEW.” This is the time when we need to lean in.
Activism is a practice like anything else. And with a practice, we need to also carry our joy. It needs to feel intrinsically aligned with who you are, otherwise it’s harder for you to do, when it actually doesn’t have to be that hard at all if we beak it down into the personal. Simple consistent steps & committed intentional changes can really go a long way. Because when we call in our personal values and figure out what matters to us, this allows us to then intentionally choose, ‘what activism lane do I want to participate in’. And we need variety my beloved’s! We need to help heal this world with every single approach! And this is a long game, so the pace of each lane will look different from one another too - and that’s ok! There are so many avenues in a revolution. There’s so many ways we can become a resource to the collective to stand up for humanity and protest. It’s important to take the time to really think deeply about your own revolutionary practices.

So I wanted to share my own personal revolutionary strategy that I have been mediating on for a while now - figuring out what activism looks like for me, and feeling into the different levels that I can participate in, as well as some shared resources, so you can create your own personal revolutionary strategy too!
Take this time of Venus Rx (3/1 - 4/12), to really figure out your strategy, so you can start putting it into action. We are all on our own personal journey with revolution but we are in it together ❤️🔥.
Below is my little guide that I hope you can take & adapt & share out to all the people you know because the more of us who LEAN IN to consistent, sustainable activism, the more of a wave of resistance we will create, and ALL OF IT MATTERS.
My Revolutionary Values
Values are a person's principles or standards of behavior. Below are my political values. Think of your own values that can help you start to create your revolutionary strategy.
Being Courageous. Doing something new or unknown - coming out of my comfort zones. Willing to do things that involve risk. Taking intentional action, making intentional choices and changing my habits, even if there’s discomfort in the matter.
Spreading Vetted Knowledge & Magical Support. Just like this museletter, I want to be vocal and share the knowledge and resources I gather, as well as be visible in my support to others as much as I can in the ways that resonate for me.
To Be of Service. Connect with my immediate communities, in person or digital and see where/how I can take action on a local & state level.
To stay grounded in Pleasure & Joy. This is the counterbalance to all negativity out there. Making sure I am enjoying my life on a spiritual and emotional level, in order to make sure my cups are full, so I can continue to be active in my personal revolution strategy.
My Personal Revolutionary Mission Statement
A mission statement describes an overall purpose & focus. I think this is a great opportunity for you to create your own mission statement, that you can actually use to cast as your own revolutionary spell. Just like spell work & casting, verbally or mentally repeating a statement, intentional words or committed devotion can hold power and fuel us to start to manifest - especially in times of need. Emotions are very much welcome. There’s no wrong way to do this. Follow your revolution.
AOC has said, “We need to focus on slowing down the political machine. When we continue to resist, they will start to tire. When we continue to stay loud, they will have to listen. Do not preemptively comply. Hold onto Hope. The people are the power. Let’s slow down the political machine."
This is a great example as a mission statement if you need a jump off point. Going in a slightly different direction that felt more true to me - below is my Personal Revolution Mission Statement:
Fuck these oppressive, patriarchal, ugly broligarchs that are trying to ruin the people & run our planet into the ground for the sake of Greed and Power. Fuck you! Hex you! That's right - you heard me! We hex you! The Witches are coming for ya 👹. I have decided I will not play in your games. Bless up. I will live my life with political integrity that is founded within loving thy neighbor, calling out bullshit, and to move courageously with radical love & invested resistance. Bless up. My personal revolution is to live in the contrary of corporate, and to align with nature & humanity as much as possible. BLESS UP.
Wow. I feel a lot better 🤓 Sacred Saturdaze Outpost would LOVE for you to share your own personal revolutionary mission statement! Say it out loud! Type it into existence! We're here for it! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Areas of Life - Under Revolutionary Review
It’s imperative that we create the space to take a closer look at certain areas of our lives - where we can actively change our habits and slowly instill new ways of living that is better for the collective and adds power to social change. To join in on this life long resistance, participation needs to be consistent. We have to shift into an investigative mode and put our actions up for review - how am I moving through my daily life? What do I value? Where am I actually investing my time, money, energy into? How can I be a resource? To see where we can make shifts & imbue some revolution magic that sticks.
But before we jump into review mode - it’s important to say this first:
The changes we need to make are going to take time. Creating your Personal Revolution Strategy & implementing it is going to be a process. What we are talking about here is pragmatic deprogramming, deliberate dismantling and calculated divesting.
This doesn’t click over night - honest change requires mindfulness, patience and continued commitment. And this is a very personal thing too. For example: Not everyone can just abandon all social media platforms, no matter how evil they are; because of the digital communities they need for connection or because their business visibility to their audience is currently dependent on social, etc. This is why it’s important for YOU to take the time and figure out what YOUR Personal Revolution Strategy is. We are all taking our power back, step by step, in our own ways. More & more people are waking up to the realization that the world we are currently living within doesn’t work for us anymore and is actually harming us. We have to consciously CHOOSE to build new ways of living that are sustainable, inclusive and healing. So we need to dream of what this looks like for us in our worlds and start changing our behaviors day by day, in the ways that we can.

🛍️ - FOLLOW THE MONEY BABY.
Where you spend your money matters greatly. I would argue that this is one of the biggest ways we can make a difference right now & moving forward. Hit the millionaires/billionaires/stakeholders where it hurts. When we take the steps to divest from companies/corporations that do not align with our values, we join the resistance. And then we can start to invest in the right places AND THIS FEELS GOOD!
❣️BABE IN REVIEW❣️ Where do I spend my money? What subscriptions do I have - do I really need all of them? How can I simplify my life & resources? Who am I giving my money to? For the sake of convenience & ease, where am I just playing into their capitalistic game?
How can I increase my endurance of patience & actively commit to seeking out small businesses, local markets & co-ops, minority & LGBTQIA owned FIRST, before I opt to shop at a big box stores like Walmart, Target, Amazon, Whole Foods, that feed into the broligarchy?
🚫 🚫 🚫 Below is a very long, sad list of companies to be aware of, bc of their evil tendencies or quick compliance with this regime’s executive orders to drop DEI initiatives. Print it out and throw darts at it to remind you on the daily!
Target, Walmart, Amazon (including Whole Foods), Tesla, GM & FORD!, McDonalds, Fucking REI!, Disney, Bank of America, Meta, Amtrak, Google, GE, Intel, PayPal, Chipotle, PepsiCo & Coca-Cola (All their brands HERE), Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Deloitte Tax Services, Molson Coors (All their brands HERE), Fucking Lowe’s, John Deere, Harley- Davison, and lordy there’s a lot more.
✅✅✅ COMPANIES THAT ARE STANDING STRONG IN THEIR INCLUSIVE VALUES & RESISTING FEAR MONGERING:
Costco, Delta Airlines, Cisco Communications, Apple, Deutsche Bank, Penzey’s Spices (black owned), Francesca’s, Patagonia, Meijer! (Shout out MI!), Dr. Bronner’s, Ghetto Gastro (black owned), Unilever brands like Dove, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, TRESemmé, and Hellmans. Sephora, Procter & Gamble (All their brands HERE), E.L.F. Cosmetics, Arm & Hammer, Lush, King Arthur Flour, Harbor Freight, NFL - there has to be more! Share in the comments the good brands you know that are FOR the people!
❤️🔥 Joh Revolutionary POV ❤️🔥
I live out in the woods in a rural community that lends itself to not having every single resource at my fingertips. So I do have to order essentials & supplies. BUT! I actively avoid Amazon as much as possible. I am willing to give up the convenience of ‘faster deliveries’, take the time to find a small business to order directly from and HOLD PATIENCE until it arrives. This has also lent itself to simplifying my lifestyle too. I don’t need all this shit! I’ll bet you a free tarot reading that what you can get on Amazon can be found & bought from a local or small business instead. Yes, this requires more patience to do the research, and an active choice to shift your habits but I’m telling you it’s worth it.
🎙️ Real Talk Tho 🎙️
The closest towns near us (1-2 hours away) don’t have a lot of options either - sometimes only evil Dollar General or fake ass Target are what I got to work with. So I’m doing the best holding onto my values to avoid these companies as much as possible, but sometimes I don’t have other options. Our society has been moving towards consolidated corporate monopolies for decades, sometimes it’s just hard to avoid and this is by capitalistic design. So I will not beat myself up about this (and you shouldn’t either), but we should continue to make an active effort to find the other avenues that are better for us common folks & local communities whenever we can.
☕️ Other resistance shifts I’m doing 💌
Divesting from Good Reads (Amazon) and Investing into StoryGraph. You can download your Goodreads data and uploading it to StoryGraph easily. Storygraph is a female, black owned small business that is the perfect replacement to Good Reads. StoryGraph is the all-in-one platform for your bookish needs.
I’m also trying to shift away from the Kindle App (owned by Amazon) and check out other apps like Moon+ Reader (Android only) or GoodReader.
Cash is still QUEEN & KING BABY! Going back to good old cash. This is start to hit banks and their 3% charging rates. They are a big part of the game.
Where I bank. I’m looking to switch from Chase Bank (eww) to my local credit union.
Streaming Services. My friends, we don’t need all of these options. Time to starting simplifying. Plus they’re increasing their prices (I see you Netflix 👀).
Local Foods 🍎🥬🧅. Farmers Markets, Local Co-Ops & regional supermarkets are the way to go. ALSO I’m planning to start my personal gardening practice this Spring to grow some of my own foods and connect more with Mother Earth! Who’s with me?? And find those awesome hippie friends who have chickens too!
📲 🗞️ - SOCIAL/NEWS/POLITICAL/PHONE INTAKE
BARF. The mainstream news cycle is TRIGGERING and honestly a part of the problem. And social media these days feels like an icky place to be too. Going even further - the amount of time I spend on my phone is pretty fucked up. And again while this is ALL BY DESIGN, it’s important for us to take a look at our digital intake & relationship. Are these digital relationships healthy and and how we can shift our habits.
❣️BABE IN REVIEW❣️ How am I really spending my time each day? And where am I putting my attention? Do I immediately open up social media when I wake up & scramble my brain? What do I really get out of social media and what does it take from me? What are my news sources - are they independent & vetted? Do I realize that my anxiety & stress comes from the mainstream news swirl? Check out your ‘Screen Time’ on your phone - How much time are you really spending on social media/on your phone in general? What if you got some of those hours back? Time wouldn’t feel like scarcity - it could feel like abundance.
Sometimes I find myself on my phone, with my IPad open and the TV on….WHAT?! I may have some neurodivergent tendencies but that’s not what conscious living is supposed to look like. For most of us, our screen time & intake is imbalanced. When we truly focus our brain into this actual present moment & what is literally right in front of us, time can actually slow down. We are able to be more intentional with our actions and not always operate on these egoic, default settings. How can we start taking our power back with our relationships to our phones, the news & social media. What your eyes take in actually converts externally into your life (and internally into your body…). Of course we don’t want to bypass what’s going on but we also need to take care of our wellbeing. This is a paradoxical exercise that takes practice, time, patience and endurance. And my babe - you can do hard things, I promise.

SOCIAL & PHONE
Most people have a like|hate|hate|hate relationship to Social Media. With the broligarchy of Meta IG & Facebook, Evil Twitter, and Tikok strategically giving this regime the props of ‘saving them’ - it feels like our digital communities of connection are swimming in evil political waters, because well, they are and yes, that is fucked up. In a time when loneliness & isolation are at an all time high - we should be able to lean into our digital communities on safe, supportive, inclusive platforms.
Am I asking you to get off of social media completely? No, because that’s a personal choice. BUT! I am asking us to look at our relationship to it. Is it healthy? Does it hurt you/is it activating? Are you wasting personal time while on it? Can we start to limit our time on it? Can we shift to other platforms that are more independent? Can we start to decentralize social media to where we start to return the focus back towards our 3D life?
Personally, I have gone back n forth on this A LOT and have been having many of conversations about it. I’m not on tiktok, I don’t go on Facebook (even though my small town operates on it), and I’m limiting my time on IG bc honestly - it’s more triggering than not these days, so it’s become a self preservation need. And I’ve been counter balancing social media with other avenues:
Substack baby! Be enticed & stretch your attention span with longer form reading. So many phenomenal writers are on this platform that you can follow.
Pinterest, hey girl 🤓 Pinterest has feel good energy within it because it’s all based on your aesthetics. When that algorithm aligns with your vibe, it can be a really nice space to be in. And did you know you can make fun collage art on it too?? So easy and fun!
Duolingo. A great app to work my brain! I’m on day 285 on learning Spanish!
Tumblr & Reddit are actually really great community platforms
I opt to e-read than be on social. Yes I’m on my phone or Ipad more but now I have a minimal 25 book/year reading habit.
Here are some other suggestions:
Drop Twitter and get on Blue Sky. I’m on there! I’ll be your friend on this independent social platform even though I’m not on it often!
Move from Tiktok to Rednote
Switch from Instagram to Pixelfed

NEWS, NEWS, NEWS
I do not watch mainstream news - it’s too activating and plays an active role in the chaos swirl. I unsubscribed from New York Times because their clickbait headlines were triggering. Jeff Bezo’s Newspaper (aka Washington Post) is officially his own personal opinionated agenda. Conspiracies, Misinformation, Disinformation are rampant. And today, 90% of our news, whether we read, watch or listen to it, is dominated primarily by 6 news giants. So it’s imperative we give our attention to independent news sources & nonprofit public interest organizations. Below are some of my favorites that I subscribe to.
NPR! Don’t forget publicly funded radio is a great way to get the right amount of news, including the news happening in your state, as well as uplifting, supportive and interesting journalism that isn’t all doom & gloom.
The BBC! The dry nature of giving the news actually takes a lot of the anxiety out of it. AND! It’s not just focused on the USA (we can be incredibly self centered sometimes).
Personally I’ve been starting to follow Nonprofits like Earth Justice: ‘Because Earth Needs a Good Lawyer’. They send out newsletters & petitions to sign pretty regularly.
I also signed up for IMPACT Newsletters! A Gen Z award-winning digital destination for young people shaping the future. From explainers that break down complicated political events to content about the intersection of pop culture and social justice.
CNN has a few different newsletter options to where you’re able to get top news but it’s not as overwhelming or all horrible (I mean sometimes it is). See newsletter options HERE
You can read ex-WP journalist Jennifer Rubin on Substack - The Contrarian.
🎙️ Real Talk Tho 🎙️
I am very cognizant on when I want to be open to news and participate in the ‘reality marketplace’ and when I need to be focused on my joy and my personal journey. Yes it is a privilege to be able to open & close this door, but it is also a strategy of self preservation. Again this paradoxical exercise. If I’m overstimulated, tweaked out and lost in chaos anxiety energy bc I’m taking too much information in - I’m no good to anybody in this resistance.
📝 - FOCUS ON LOCAL & STATE.
Slowing down the political machine process by becoming penpals & phone a friend with your city & state’s elected officials.
Join Indivisible & find a local group HERE. Finally an political activist group that is organized and wide reaching. Indivisible is a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat this regime’s agenda.
You’ll be able to connect to the local groups in your area, be in the know on nation wide boycotts, upcoming protests and latest news on government.
They also have a free practical guide to start you off HERE.
5 Calls App, that you can download HERE. This is as simple and straight forward as you can get folks. You drop in your zip code and it automatically gives you your National & State Reps, all the political issues broken out by category (with contextual explanations), the phone numbers to call AND THE EASY SIMPLE SCRIPT TO READ VER BATEM.
❤️🔥 Joh Revolutionary POV ❤️🔥
Now personally I’ve always felt some discomfort in making these calls. But once you do one it becomes easier. As a concerned citizen, once you send one email or write one letter (that’s already spelled out for you!), it becomes easier. Even committing to ‘once or twice a month on my Friday morning before my day gets away from me, I’m going to call my representatives.’ Sometimes setting a window of revolution can help you knock it out! BECAUSE WE CAN DO HARD THINGS BABE!
